Triple action deep-drawing presses
These presses are characterised by having a second slide inside the ram whose operation is designed to work independently with different force and stroke settings.
This special feature allows particularly complex deep-drawings to be carried out in a single operation with a considerable reduction in cycle times.
During the deep-drawing process, the outer ram carries out the sheet-clamping action (upper cushion) and the inner ram carries out the deep-drawing action, while the press sheet-clamp (lower cushion) can be used for the extraction of the deep-drawn pieces or as a third action.
It is also possible to use these presses to perform traditional deep-drawing by mechanically locking the ram with the internal slide and by using the sheet-clamp (lower cushion) in reaction.
